Here is a brief summary of my career.
I am an architect, an associate professor at the Nancy School of Architecture, and researcher at the MAP-MAACC laboratory in Paris. I began my professional journey as an independent architect, specializing in architectural sketching. I participated in numerous architecture and urban planning competitions for agencies in France, closely integrating architectural creation with digital model design. The creation of visuals for architecture has gradually become a significant part of my practice, and over time, the role of technology has grown due to my decision in the early 2000s to work with and for free software. In this pioneering context, I established the foundations of an open-source digital design space based on Linux. Since then, I have developed expertise in creating 3D software and systems over the past fifteen years. During this period, I was able to deepen my knowledge through my involvement in the emergence of the first hackerspaces in Paris (/tmp/lab) in 2007. As a side effect, this hybrid practice combining technology and creation has also been transposed into the field of digital art, with performances in Paris at the Gaité Lyrique, the Palais de Tokyo, the Grand Palais, and exhibitions in an art gallery. I am currently exploring the issue of digital writing for architecture and am participating in the emergence of a new open source BIM ecosystem.
